OVERVIEW
What is the Adult Training Program?
The CCG Adult Training Program is a 6-month structured climbing and conditioning program designed to help motivated adult climbers build a strong foundation and progress intentionally.
This program combines weekly coached sessions, off-wall training, and progressive training phases to support long-term development rather than short-term gains.
Who it’s for
Adult climbers committed to improving their climbing
Climbers comfortable around V3 / 5.11 (recommended, not mandatory)
Those interested in structured, coach-led training

How the Program Works
The program is divided into three progressive training phases, each building on the last to support sustainable improvement.
Phase 1 — Strength
Focus on foundational strength, movement quality, and injury prevention.
Phase 2 — Power
Develop explosive movement, coordination, and dynamic control.
Phase 3 — Endurance
Build stamina and efficiency for longer routes and sustained efforts.

Weekly Commitment
1 coached session per week
Additional self-guided training encouraged
Sessions run on a consistent weekly schedule (details provided upon registration)
Practice schedule for the 2025/26 season is as follows:
Tuesdays, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. – coached by Regen Waldman & Lotta Sandebäck
Thursdays, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. – coached by Matt Lucas & Lotta Sandebäck

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be an advanced climber?
No. A base comfort level around V3 / 5.11 is recommended, but motivation and consistency matter most.
Can I miss sessions?
Life happens — consistency is encouraged, but occasional missed sessions are expected.
Is this program competition-focused?
No. This program is for personal progression, strength building, and long-term climbing development.
